Madrid beat Juventus to set UCL record

Real Madrid win Champions League for the second time in 2years to become the only team to retain the trophy.

They have become the first team to defend the title since the competition was revamped in 1992. Madrid won it back in 2016 and were able to defend a year after.

The win was Real's 12th European Cup - five more than any other club.

Ronaldo opened the scoreline with a low shot, assisted by Cavajal before Mario Madzukic level the scoreline with a fine finish.

Casemiro made it 2- 1 with a long range shot, minutes later, Ronaldo doubled his tally when he tucked away Isco's cross past the helpless Bufon.

Madrid was more brutal after the break, giving Juventus no room for them to showcase their plans.

Asensio wrap up the game when he got the best out of Marcelo's low cross inside the 18yard box at stoppage time.
Christiano Ronaldo was voted man of the match

Hail the king of football... Hala Madrid.
